The services you need to perfect your images.
Pounds Labs continues a 30-year-old tradition of excellence in retouching and art work by employing the latest technologies available to provide the highest quality results.
We use high quality scanners and advanced software to produce digital images, eliminating the need for traditional retouching methods. By working exclusively with digital images, we offer you access to one of the greatest benefits of a digital workflow-nearly unlimited art and retouching of the image without additional time and charges for prints.
When placing orders, please include specific instructions and guide prints, if available, so we can understand the exact image you have in mind. Contact a friendly customer service representative for quotes on custom retouching and art work not listed below.
Digital Retouching may be ordered through PROS, LabPrints or from negatives or images on CD/DVD. When submitting negatives or a CD/DVD, please include a Digital Retouching & Art form inside a Digital Print & Finishing work order envelope.
Standard Digital Retouching includes soften or remove lines under eyes, facial lines, neck lines and minor blemishes. On request we will also soften or remove scars or moles.
Corrective art includes the removal of items such as foreign objects, stray hair or shadows and more extensive work such as adding or removing people, extending backgrounds or removing braces. Most corrective art is covered by a standard charge. When the standard charge does not cover the requested corrections the work is charged by the minute.
