The Pounds Marketing and Sales teams are getting ready for the 2009 Texas PPA Regional Convention and SWPPA Affiliated Print Competition in Arlington, September 18-22. Raquel Bowles, Carl Clark and Sean Roach will be at the trade show in the Pounds Booth #101. They will be hosting a great line up of speakers including Kelly Moore Clark, Carrell Grigsby, Kristy Lamm and Brandi Nellis. The PROS Design team wanted PCN to let you know about their latest releases. Here’s what’s new:

Mirrors
Your customers will do a double take when you show them our Mirrors. You can personalize these handy, compact-sized Mirrors with portraits on the reverse side. You’ll find them in Novelty Products.

Sports Posters
By popular demand, new layouts with horizontal image nodes have been added to the Posters in the Pic A Pac catalog. Now, you can include a team photo in the design with your vertical player portraits.

Event Passes
There’s more news for Sports photographers – we’ve expanded our line of Event Passes. See the “hot ticket” designs for Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Cheer in the Pic A Pac Catalog.

Senior Graduation and Thank You Cards
The Press Products catalog has some exciting new Designer Cards for the Class of 2010. Under the tab for Horizontal Fold cards in the 5.5x4 size, we’ve added layouts with trendy grunge textures, ornamental swirls, and funky fonts.

Gift Tags
New designs are available for the Gift Tags found in the Greeting Cards catalog. There’s a traditional set with Santa Claus and a Snowman, and a pop art set with retro graphics.

The Pounds Digital Workshop schedule for September is now posted in the Community section of our web site. Learn how to use PASS, Pounds Automated Sales System, and you can earn more money with online sales. The “Getting Started With PASS” session covers all the basics for setting up a free, no-commission, e-commerce web site. There are also classes on adding web pages with flash intros, galleries, price lists and packages. All of our classes are offered online at convenient times during the day and evening.
