When Pounds introduced Press Books in PROS, we got a great response from our customers. Robin Newman, of Newman Photography told us: “Pounds Press Books sell themselves in my studio. When people see them, they want them. Since I ordered my sample, I’ve had more referrals and repeat customers.” That’s just the kind of feedback we love to hear. But, will digital devices and online image sharing make studio products obsolete in the future? If you asked teenagers to decide which is better, a Press Book or Facebook, you might think that the screen would trump page every time. But that’s not necessarily so. PCN is always pleased to remind you about the current promo at Pounds because we know it will save you money. Take note of an exciting new product from Pounds! Our PROS Design team just released templates for Notepads that can be customized with images and text. They make personal and practical items to include in packages or to sell as add-ons. They are a great way to promote your studio too. Just design the layout with sample images, your logo, and contact information and distribute them to local businesses. If you are a wedding photographer, use them to introduce your studio to coordinators, florists, caterers, and other vendors. Create them for a charity and donate them for sale at fundraisers. Or, you might just be able to attract a whole new market - who wouldn’t want a handy Notepad with a portrait of their favorite feline or pet pooch? Here’s the good news about what our Production team has been doing to update PROS:

Gift Promo Cards
A Gift Promo Card template is now available in the Layout Tool Press Cards catalog. That means you can design and order your cards in PROS, without having to design them in Photoshop first.

Volleyball Layouts
Pro Graphics Volleyball themes have been added to the Pic A Pac catalog. Sports photographers can order a wide variety of products for teams and players including Memory Mates, Magazine Covers, Trader Cards, Calendars, and more.

All Star and Blue Metal Sports Graphics
The Pic A Pac catalog is more versatile than ever with our All Star and Blue Metal Sports Graphics. The Generic tab has All Star templates that can be used for any sport. The Blue Metal tab has customizable layouts for a variety of Pic A Pac products.

Now, for the GREAT news!
Remember, you heard it from PCN first – we just got an inside scoop that Pounds will be offering Sports and Event Plaques in the Pic A Pac catalog. Soon, you will be able to order 5x7 and 8x10 Pro Graphics prints mounted on attractive, walnut veneer plaques. Watch for an e-mail announcing the launch in mid-May.
