Pounds is pleased to announce that our Lay Flat Press Books have passed “Go” and are now available in PROS. We took a test drive of this hot new product at WPPI. Just as we expected, the response to our preview was great. But before we rolled out our prototypes, our production team tore through reams of options until they found a flexbind paper that would meet top performance standards. They printed and hand-bound our samples with hard covers, protective end sheets and silky-smooth vellum inserts. Then, they added the professional touch with custom-designed, metallic dust jackets. Now you can use your images to create your own samples. You’ll find templates for pages, covers, and dust jackets in the Lay Flat Press Book Creation catalog. When you receive your orders, we’re sure you’ll love showing off these outstanding books too. Just don’t let your customers know how little you paid for so much quality! When Community talks, Pounds listens. If you’re a Pounds customer, you’re a Community member. You’ve made some requests and our Production team delivered. Here is the short-list of additions now available in PROS:

Specialty Border Proof Cover Prints
Now you can order a “No Border Cover Print” with studio info on a full-frame image to present your bound proofs storybook style. Select this new option before you click the “Add to Order” button in the Specialty Border Proof catalog.

Spiral Bound Press Calendar Covers
Brand your studio, add marketing messages, and include seasonal coupons on the optional cover or end sheet pages for Press Calendars. Look for the new “Add-On Cover Sheet” layouts in the Press Product catalog under the Calendars tab.

New Sports Calendars
The Pic-A-Pac catalog has been updated with new horizontal and vertical designs for 5x7, 8x10, and 10x13 sports calendars. Take advantage of our free upgrade for metallic paper by selecting this option in Order Review.

Press Proof Book Custom Pages
Press Proof catalogs now include a “Custom Side” layout that can be used to place studio branding, order forms, or other information in proof books. Select the placement at the front, back or anywhere in between the proof pages by using the sequencing function in Order Review.

New Gallery Wrap Option
The Gallery Wrap Portraits catalog has been updated with layouts for 2.5 inch frames. The full-image size and canvas face guidelines are included for each template so you can preview the placement of your images.
